Serves 4.
Ingredients:
- 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- 1 Medium Onion -- Chopped
- 1/2 Pound Ground Beef And Lamb
- Salt And Pepper -- To Taste
- 1 Pinch Saffron
- 1 Cup Parsley -- Chopped
- 1 Cup Cilantro -- Chopped
- 1/2 Cup Mint -- Chopped
- 1/2 Cup Dill -- Chopped
- 1 1/2 Cups Rice
- Saute onion in oil until golden.
- Add meat, salt, pepper and saffron.
- Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Add 2 cups of water, bring to a boil.
- Add parsley, cilantro, mint and dill.
- Cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Add rice and cover by 1-inch of water.
- Cover and bring to a boil.
- Lower heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Remove from heat, stir well and let stand for 5 minutes.
- Serve.
